T.P.D. is a not for profit organization which was founded on the campus of the University of Illinois by Nydia Byrd and John Nixon the summer after their Freshman year in the College of Business.This non-profit organization is dedicated to empowering and enriching the non-degreed workforce of Champaign County and surrounding areas via hands on training, workshops and other professional development opportunities. Total Professional Development aims to be a key community resource for, which will assist and empower the non-degreed workforce in the transition to greater and more meaningful employment.
